This picture was taken on the beach below the runway at Balivanich Airport on the Isle of Benbecula in the Western Isles.

It looked like we were in for a deluge, but as luck would have it, the dark clouds blew past and left a beautiful day in their wake.

The angles of the sea line, shore and storm clouds drew me into taking this picture and it was clearly one that would work best in black & white. I hope you like it. It features as the February picture in my 2010 calendar.
