Traditionally a photoblog is meant to be your own work, but as the controversy at the G8 Photoblog proved, as long as you know who took what, it is the photo and its subject that matters.

So I am pleased to publish a 'guest photo' today. This wonderful shot was taken by my great family friends Irene & Maurice in Blairgowrie last month. They have been true and loyal friends to our family for many, many years and I have always thought of them as 'Aunt & Uncle'.

So it gives me tremendous pleasure to display such a superb example of their work here today.
