Marie Curie Cancer Care Alzheimer Scotland

7th June 2009

Dear all

A big thank you to all my friends who helped me to complete the 81 mile 'walk' from the Tay Bridge to North Queensferry over the last two days. We were very lucky with the weather. Please now collect all your sponsorships and send them to the Dunfermline Carnegie Rotary CLub Treasurer as instructed on the sponsor forms. Extra copies are still available here.

I hope to post some pics here later, if they make it through my dark room!

Best wishes from Hamish

Hello. I'm Hamish.
My story so far.

I started my career as a mascot for a Rotary youth exchange with Canada in 1996 and lived there for almost a year raising funds and, boy, have I travelled since then. Being taken to countries like Egypt was great fun.

I have walked the Fife Coastal Path, walked from Maggie's Edinburgh to Maggie's Kirkcaldy and last year ran the Dunfermline Half Marathon.

When you meet me, take a look at the photos and notebooks in my back-pack to see some of the things I have been up to!

Some folk had to pay to have their photo taken with me. I reckon that I have helped to raise at least 500,000 Canadian dollars so far.
