To think that the Edinburgh Trams were upgraded to buses like the one in this picture and now the Capital City's streets are closed and dug up to bring back one track for Trams at an estimated cost of £700 million!! Whatever next? It makes the Holyrood Parliament Building look like a bargain!

To find some sanity in a mad, mad world, head to Howmore in South Uist to see some fine examples of David Macbraynes vintage buses. They are not always there as they still work and take tourists all over the place... more than an Edinburgh Tram will be able to do!
