When I was Junior Vice-President of Cowdenbeath Rotary Club, I was invited with others for a 'hurl' on the RNLI Anstruther Lifeboat out to the Isle of May in the Firth of Forth and back.

As you can see we had an excellent day for the trip. Rotary Clubs in Fife helped to raise funds to purchase the new inshore lifeboat at Anstruther.

The colours in this shot are brilliant - his jacket and kit are so bright and the sea and beach bring nice natural tones in as well while the roof tops add a further contrast as a nice line through the picture that helps to frame your subject. Very good, really like it.

I think it's a great "real people" shot. The east coast colours have come out perfectly and I can almost feel the movement in the sea. Even the cars appear to be more colourful in Fife!
