Another picture from this weekend's Scottish PhotoBloggers' excursion.
This is of the falls on the River Etive in Glen Etive, in the shadow of Buachaille Etive Mor. Take a look at Phil’s composition which in my opinion is much better. After a slip on a rock crossing a wee stream I was too nervous to go down to the edge for the better shot… had visions of skiting off the edge!! This photography lark is becoming dangerous! :)

This shot was worth the trip!
It catches the beauty and ruggedness of a highland burn.

Now that looks familiar! Thanks, I think the extra few feet to get slightly closer does make a difference, I like this shot too though - the faster shutter speed nicely freezes the falls, it looks a lot more lively than in my shot.

It is a beautifully scenic spot. The detail in the rocks has come out nice and sharp and I quite like the grass along the bottom edge, gives it a nice border to break up the frame.
