As the SNP gather in Perth for their Annual Conference, those arriving at Perth railway station will be met by this welcoming sight. This is platform 3, a main platform for Inverness to Edinburgh trains!!!

What a disgrace... Privatisation of the railways certainly isn't working here. Send in your complaint to First ScotRail.

Perth railway station is a tremendous example of Britain's large covered railway stations but sadly very under utilised. It is still well worth the visit if you like to study this kind of architecture. I believe it is the second largest station in Scotland. Edinburgh Waverley being the largest. Edinburgh Waverley also boasts the largest glass covered roof in the UK.
