The 2006 International Festival came to an end with the 25th Bank of Scotland Firework display set to music from Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet, played by The Scottish Chamber Orchestra. I didn't make it to Edinburgh, so had to settle for Forth 1, these shots from my front garden and my new binoculars from 7DayShop.com. The object at the top right of the montage is a jet on finals to Edinburgh Airport and the middle left image shows the fantastic heart-shaped fireworks. The well lit building to the left of the Castle is of course, the Bank of Scotland Head Office building on The Mound.
